Question Backline Distortion

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Gallien krueger backline 250 with a distortion that i love. I was wondering if there was a way i could get just the distortion part and put it into a pedal. If there is any way i would love to know, by the way sorry if i sound like i dont know what im talking about because iv really had no expierience with the guts of an amp.

have you looked at the Diesel Dawg distortion? Im not sure if its the same circuit, and if it isnt, take the amp to a professional and have the circuit replicated or taken out and put into a stompbox.

I think it sounds a lot like the Boss Metalzone personally.

I had the Diesel Dawg, it was a good unit but I never got the Backline distortion channel sound out of it. I'd take it to an amp tech to see if they can replicate the PCB, but it won't be cheap.
