Bad day = new stuff for me! GAS purchases

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys
I've had a really bad day, got in a few arguments, tried to be productive and failed, had no meaningful conversations etc etc. SO, I figured I'd go get myself some new stuff - student loans got deposited yesterday = nice big bank account lol. I debated on what to get for a little while, which was half the fun, but eventually I went on tonefactor and bought a PT mini for myself, and put $100 down on a supercollider.
Hopefully the wait wont be to bad for the SC..
I've gota korg pitchblack, a Barber direct drive, a EBS multicomp, and a Red 442 that I'll be putting on there, possibly some other gas thigns that I might buy in the next few days...lol
Oh yeah, going to a hookah bar with a bunch of friends tonight should be fun

Anybody else had rough days lately that have been cheered up by GAS purchases?

I got laid off 5 months ago and have since bought a few unnecessary pedals. Beats jumpin' outta windows I tell you what.

EBS Valve Drive vs. EBS Multidrive - have an opinion?

Never tried the MultiDrive. But the ValveDrive kicks the crap out of any other bass OD I've ever used or heard.

The best example I have of a "bad day GAS purchase" was actually by my guitar player. Tried to get tickets to see Widespread Panic at the House of Blues here in Myrtle Beach a few years ago. Ten feet away from the ticket window in line they sold out. In a fit of rage, we went down to the local music joint and he plopped down $650 on a Fender Reverb. Good job, ey?
