bad monkey mod

Can someone tell me or point me in the right direction on what this mod is. I am interested in the more bass and more transparent mod. I will be doing the mod myself. Thanks.

It was super easy, and does what it's supposed to (though I think the unmodded pedal sounds very good, too).

I did the C5 mod myself and I'm much happier with the sound. It sounded OK before the mod, but I like it even more now that the midrange bump is flattened out.

I almost bought a JHS-modded Bad Monkey, but I bought a Double Barrel instead that has a TubeScreamer clone on it.

I own a couple JHS-modded pedals now, and I would trust them with cleaning up the Bad Monkey, for sure.
