Barber Linden EQ vs. Markbass Super Booster

I have a Barber Linden EQ that has become very useful to me as it really helps me get an old school tone out of almost any amp. I also have a Radial J48 to pair it with if I'm doing an in-ear/PA gig.

Would the Markbass Super Booster pedal achieve the same thing or does the VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) filter give you a different tone altogether?

I like the idea of one pedal doing it all but only if it gives me the things that are most important to me very well.

Different flavors. I like the Linden, and have it on at all times.

+1. Very different. The Markbass boost is fairly good boost. It's not completely transparent. The pedal offers the tone controls you would find on many of the Markbass amps. One seems to play with how fast the attack is the other one is a scoop.
They are OK controls but nothing too crazy. I rarely use them on my F500. The Linden as you probably know is a very good pedal and it yields beautiful tones which would be difficult to achieve with a graphic EQ for example.
