Bare metal/etched pedals?

Sign in to disble this ad
So at one point I had a stealth PT-Mini for one band:

and I started thinking that a few pedals I've been looking at had unfinished or etched metal casings.

So if someone were to build a full pedalboard with that aesthetic, what would be available to choose from? Obviously DIY is an option (I was eyeballing grygrx's etched Lazy Sprocket in the classifieds) but I'm most interested in commercial offerings.

Some that I thought of:

Delay - Empress Superdelay

Chorus - Fromel Seraph

Tremolo - Cusack Tap-A-Whirl

Phaser - Cusack Tap-A-Phase

Ring Modulator - Fairfield Circuitry Randy's Revenge

Others?

2 of the 5 or 6 artists that are doing Devi Ever's custom twin pedals do etching, so you could definitely cover your overdrive/fuzz needs with one of those.

Here's an example of the workmanship:

I really think an entire board of pedals in this thread would be worth doing. I may have to give it some serious thought.

Not quite the same as most others in this list, but I'd count that one.

And how did I forget Toneczar pedals?

Bumping, I know Fromel was already mentioned, but I just picked up a Fromel Shape EQ and it sounds really nice! Warm and smooth and musical.

I dig the aesthetics of the Fromel pedals.
