just a heads up - you pedal experts probably know this already - but there seems to be a blowout on the bassballs pedals at a few places online - seeing em go for 40 bucks new. both guitar center/musicians friend and music 123 have it advertised.

They (the Russian version that is) have been at that price for a while... They're probably trying to get rid of some old stock to make way for the new Nano Bassballs.

It's a good deal, unless you really need pedalboard space...

Without going to those sites and looking for myself (lazy) is that just the older, larger ones?

Im guessing from 98dvl that thats the case?

Yeah, it's the Russian ones.

I've been eyeing a Nano Bassballs myself... I tried one out when they first came out, but I couldn't think of a use for it at the time...

Now, I'm really tempted to pick one up. Well, that, and a Micro POG... I've got some more testing and reviewing to do...

I got the Russian balls for $40. Too cheap to resist. It sounds good to, besides I needed it to match my Russian muff.

I noticed that I could leave the muff plugged in with it the effect switched off and not drain the batteries. The balls will the drain the batteries in the same configuration.

I would like to mod the balls to be off in bypass mode like the muff. Anybody try that?
