Woo! Just checked my email and saw that too. So... who's gonna be the first to get one? Between the Chunk Systems OS, Subdecay Prometheus, and the Barge Concepts The Grinder... It's looking to be a very expensive (but fun) bunch of GAS.

i got the email too. i just sold my 2nd Meatball, so i doubt this will make it to my house. it seems the original mutron iii really is doing the trick and eliminating all filter GAS. strange, but true.

cheers

Your meat will be ground instead of wadded.

I may be mis-recalling but didn't the Meatwad leave out a few controls and connections to save space and cost? Looks like the Grinder is a 1:1 copy of the Meatball, with the same control layout.

+1 for clips.

I really want one, but don't want to buy it completely unheard...

The Meatwad has all the same controls as the Meatball (actually it has more - the 'Hi-Lo' filter range switch from the Meatball is two switches with six possible positions on the Meatwad), the only thing that's missing is the secondary exp. pedal socket (on the Barge it controls the wet/dry blend, not sure if that's what it did on the original Meatball).

Frankly I was a little turned off by the price of the Grinder. But I assume its a pretty high end product. Look forward to hearing the first initial reviews.

It's $360 for those on their mailing list.

That's what kept me from ordering one the minute I got the email. I'm pretty confident that I'd be able to get exactly the sound I want, but I still want to hear it first. $360 is quite a bit of coin to spend on one pedal (IMO anyway), but I'm still afraid my G.A.S. will win out...

Considering that the orginal Meatballs go for way more than that, the price seems alright. That being said, it's still a lot to pay for a pedal.
