Bass Big Muff Electro-Harmonics pedal question?

Sign in to disble this ad
So, I have the pedal, but everytime I push the on/off button, it makes a loud *POP!* the sound even sounds like it reverberates through the amp. does anyone have a solution for this problem? This doesn't seem like an ethical pedal for live performances...

1M+ resistor from input to ground (preferably on the PCB) should solve it. It's all SMD though, so it's kinda hard to work on.

My Graphic Fuzz (big box version) does that. Tried pulldown resistors, but that didn't do anything. Nor did replacing the switch.

Only does it when I'm truing it on, though.

Is it too late to exchange it for a new one?

I think switching the foot switch with a new one would help. I'm not certain though.
