Another option, perhaps a litlle more budget-conscious: the Digitech BassDriver offers a lot of tweaking options that sound good with bass and has the advantage of a having blend knob. It also has a Boss ODB-3 setting. ( http://www.digitech.com/en-US/products/bass-driver) | +1 on the digitech bass driver. I own one and it sounds pretty cool. compared to the boss odb-3, the digitech bass driver is considered tamed because it's not as extremely heavy sounding as the boss odb-3, but it does have plenty of gain and it fits in the band mix better than the boss obd-3. it also sounds pretty cool with a chorus. I own a danelectro cool cat cc-1 chorus pedal and it sounded pretty cool with the digitech bass driver. it gives me a grungy but heavy sound. the digitech bass driver is definitely a decent bass distortion pedal to own if you play hard rock and heavy metal music.
