Edit: I don't mean to be a smartarse- just providing some *input*. I've not played one & don't know the sound you describe. Maybe some of the other posters can help.

Longer answer: But you'll be able to do all those cool things that the dude from Ben Folds Five could do!

The Big Muff is a lovely sounding fuzz, but not entirely practical (on its own) on bass. It really needs to be blended with your clean bass signal, or another effect that provides lots of bottom end (like an analogue octaver).

But, to answer the question presented in the title, yes. There's an input. Because I've never actually seen it, I'm not sure if this is a stereo out pedal, but it definitely does have an input.

Yes, you can get the Starlight sound, Wostenholme used a green russian Big Muff, and the Bass Big Muff is based on that one.

The bass big muff blends in with your clean signal on one of the modes, so no problem with low end. It'll get you close enough to the Starlight sound.

I have one and like it a lot. It doesn't suite all sorts of music but it is cool to add to some songs.

i have one and its amazing. if you put an overdrive before it and put the bbm on dry mode, you can blend that overdrive and the fuzz together for some cool tones

No, it is not. The Bass Big Muff is based on the current black Russian Muff, as they had no green ones available to them.
