I did a search on the EHX bass blogger and didn't really find what I wanted to find out...sorry if I restarted an old thread...

I was just wondering opinions of the Bass blogger. I had mine for a while used it a bunch, then went back to just a clean sound. I pulled it out of retirement again and had a change of opinion of it (not better or worse, just different). So i figured i see what others thought of it.

i like what i.ve heard of it on youtube, but have not had hands on experience with it since my local music stores hate bass effects (you heard me guitar center) i have been interested in it as an alternative to the low end robbing Muff

I tried it for a couple of days and did not like it at all.
There are much better options out there: Hematoma or Pork Loin for example.

I think I would love the Fuzz mode on it, but the name and the graphics totally turn me off from it.

I've got one, and it's not too bad. I wouldn't be too upset if it quit workin, but it does the job. I have on occasion dialed in something pretty awesome, but overall, its passable if uninspired.

At the end it's just a good overdrive that retains your low-end.
The fuzz isn't that great though.

When I first got it I really liked the fuzz since I didn't lose any low end (that you tend to from a guitar muff) and didn't see much in the overdrive. Now I find that the overdrive is pretty cool especially when you turn up the volume on the amp and the fuzz lacks a little umph.

Still I think it was a decent pedal in the end.
