Bass Boost

I find myself using more and more bass boost.
In particular I like what the Fulltone Bass Boost does to my tone.

I'm not looking for a 100% clean boost; undestanding what these do is pretty easy. I'm looking for a boost that can impart some interesting character to the the tone without going as far as an overdrive such as Dark Driving or Holy Fire for example.

Any feedback on the Lizard Leg Blue Tail and the Xotic RC Bass? Catlinbread also offers some options.

Many thanks in advance.... and yes I did do a search and no I don't want to hear about the B3K!

I haven't tried it yet myself, but add the [sfx] B^3 to your list.

I'd also toss the McSpunckle And Aardvarks! into your considerations. It has 3 modes, one of which passes the lows through clean, and lets you add a little color to the highs.

Barber Linden EQ.

It imparts a nice character to your bass and there is plenty of bass boost on tap.

Thanks for all the input.

I tried the Phat P. and did not like it at all. Way too colored for me and I did not like the tone the pedal imparts.

I have a Linden and likes it a lot; this pedal has huge mojo and magic for sure.

Any feedback on the Devi Ever dark boost? Is it just an EQ'ed boost?

Are your senses maybe looking for just a little more EQ control of your current bass boost capabilities? Simple two- and three-knob lack the subtlety of a graphic or parametric EQ.
