Peter Steele's tone on lots of Type O Negative songs is beautiful, e.g. the aforesaid Wolf Moon, Stay Out Of My Dreams, Anesthesia, Be My Druidess, Red Water, etc: often with a thick swirl of fuzziness mixed in with the chorus. Apart from this, I love all Joy Division's songs which featured Peter Hook's prominent chorusy bass, especially 24 Hours. Kinda surprised he hasn't been mentioned yet.
