Sign in to disble this ad
I use a Blues Devill 4x10 combo with a 4x12 cab,i have read that playing a bass guitar through the guitar amp is bad for my speakers,so this got me thinking is it bad for my guitar amp to use effects pedals that drop the guitar by two octaves such as the DigiTech Synth WAH Envelope Filter. pls help me i do not want to hurt my amp that i love so much

In my opinion, playing bass through a guitar amp will damage nothing except your ego. For practice, you'll be fine. Watch the volume!

Running a high powered bass head through a guitar cabinet on the other hand, will mess some shizz up.
