Bass Effects used in the Holy Hour by The Cure

Does anyone know specifically what effects were used on the bass guitar in the holy hour by The Cure to give it that muddy effect. If anyone knows the exact pedal used back then you are deff. ALL THAT.....Peace and Thanx in advance

Do you want more?!?!?

On the album version it sounds like flats played with a pick into an SVT with the mids scooped. Hard to tell with the flanger, but I'd guess that's a Stingray.

Hehehe...yea yea man... one of my favorite philthadephia fixes from back in the day!_!
I am looking at a half stack SVT or a GK at this time and have to make a choice soon. Funny you should bring that into the mix... thanx for yur ear and the info... I remember seeing the roots over 10 years ago in some old warehouse lost in Philly and the bass player was rockin Iron Man with his teeth... Love their early on gear...ONELOVE
