Cool Bass Fuzz Enthusiasts?

I am fixin' on a new Fuzz pedal, I've got three I'm interested in, looking for opinions and experiences...

DevieverFX's BIT Legend of Fuzz is up first.

Link to home page > devi ever : fx » BIT : THE LEGEND OF FUZZ

In use with a bass > BIT : Legend of (bass) Fuzz - YouTube

Cheapest out of the three I've found and it looks pretty sweet, gets the job done in my opinion.

Up next FXDoctors' Bass Bit Fuzz.

In use (kinda) FXdoctor Super 8-Bit Fuzz demo song - YouTube

I think out of all the pedals I'm interested in this is the coolest looking one, the model in the video is the original Bit Fuzz pedal, they just released the Bass model.

And last but definitely not least, the $200 Fuzz in the flesh, DwarfCraft Devices' Hair of the Dog Fuzz.

In use > Hair of the Dog - YouTube

I think that this is probably the dirtiest most versatile Fuzz I've found, and it should be for the price tag on that bad boy. But when I'm seeing and listening I think it looks and sounds great.

So yeah, if anybody has an ear for Fuzz pedals and/or has any experience with these pedals I'm awaiting input, lemme know what you all think, I wanna know what gives you gas.

Thanks everybody!

Try the Arion Bass Distortion Effects Pedal MDI-2. You can blend the straight signal with the distorted signal. Don't let the fact that it is under $50.00 turn you off.

So much fuzz so little time.

Of those three the HOD is probably the most versatile.

I also like.

The Devi Ever Bit is awesome on bass. It's very gated, has a good amount of low-end, can do the 8-bit thing. Great pedal

The FXDoctor one, I've heard great things about how it sounds, but I've heard very bad things about the durability of the FXDoctor stuff. If you do a search here, you'll find quite a few threads where people talk about their FXDoctor pedals breaking.

I've never played the Hair of the Dog personally, but Dwarfcraft pedals are always very heavy and low-end friendly, and can usually get pretty freaky on some settings. Aen (the builder) is also a really damn cool guy.

...didn't care for any of them. Can't say the samples were the best to judge from but based on that I'm sticking with the Bluebeard and the Oxfuzz.
