bass fx using 2 amps and cab's.

Hi,

I play in a reggae/dub band and want to use some fx (repetitions and live).

The fx that i mainly use are synth's and autowah's from a Line6 bass pod xt,but because the sound that I'm using has minimal treble and high mids and lots of bass the fx don't sound good.

At home on my demo recordings they do sound good because i use 2 recording tracks (1 with fx and 1 without fx).

So i like to have 2 amps to make it sound good.

The gear that i use are a Markbass SA 450 with 2 Markbass Standard 104 HF's and a Ibanez ATK 305 with flats wounds.

I was thinking to buy a Markbass Little Mark 250 and a traveler 102,but maybe I'm better of with a poweramp and a Markbass traveler 102 or some other lightweight 2x10 cab...

Maybe somebody has some suggestion what amp and cab i should use to run my fx trough?

Greetingz.
Mundez.

What amp you use is totally up to you. I will say, alot of guys use a much smaller rig, sometimes even a guitar rig, for the effected "high end", leaving the low end clean, and with a much bigger rig. (low bass needs more power). Of more importance is how you'll split your signal. A good stereo chorus pedal is my solution, but there's plenty other options.

I split my signal with a Boss line selector.
