Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good effects pedal to get some nice grit into my sound.
I play mostly in drop c/b flat so I need something that will preserve my low end.
Any help would be greatly appreciated |

Fulltone Bassdrive works for me. Of course thats what I own, and my experience is limited.

Yes, it matters.
:edit: NM, I just saw what pedal your considering getting. That should def do the trick. but if all your looking for is a little grit there are cheaper solutions.
And don't pay any attention to those who post and simply tell you to search; ( it's not a very helpful answer, I really wonder why they bother to post it.)
I know it can be overwhelming when researching gear when one isn't "in the know" or familiar with brands/reliability.

I think I might go for the dave hall vt1 eq bass drive seeing as its a di box as well. |

I can tell you why. Because there are umpteen-million threads about the same exact subject. It would be soooo much easier if everyone used the same thread (and make searching far more efficient). People would be able to find information easier, it would centralize information and you'd find that the same question wouldn't have to be asked every 12 hours.
The BEST reason, however is right at the top of the forum: Do A Search Before Posting New Threads. |

I'll PM you the address if you're up for it. he's based in Northwood, Middx quite near ruislip. IIRC
he has loads of cool stuff in there. just imagine a shop that just sells pedals!!!!
