Unhappy Bass Micro Synth Trim

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Guys,
I've owned this Bass Micro Synth for a while now without ever reading the manual about it^^
so like twenty minutes ago i heard about the need to "trim" it before using it. they say the basic setting is input trim for passive single coil, now the prob is me having an active humbucker on my bass
so basically all I wanna know is wether i need to crank the trim up or down and how much i need to crank it
thx for the help

I've never used the pedal myself, but I presume you'll need to adjust the trim if you experience clipping, and that is dependent upon how hot your signal is and how aggressively you play.

Crank the octave down and dry slider, turn the resonance down to nil, the start and stop freq in a 'normal' bass sounding area (it doesn't have to be perfect). Play your bass and adjust the trimmer until there is no clipping on your loudest notes. Reassamble and enjoy your pedal.
