SO I picked up this little box for $30 and I must say it WAILS. The midrange is a thing of beauty and it retains a creamy character without the harsh spurting of some Tubescreamer clones that I have tried.
The bass retention is good, but not great, so I'm looking to switch out some components for a bit more low-end response. Does anyone have info on how exactly to go about this?
Thanks in advance! I highly recommend this to guitarists and bassists alike. |

| | | I was gonna say blend circuit too actually. I'm still looking for a nice OD with a blend loop, something like a Pork Loin but less Way Huge (smaller footprint that is).
Anyway, glad you found a cheap slash great OD pedal, hope you can make something out of it |

I'm just picky
tony, have you considered something like a catalinbread SFT or similar pedals that wouldn't necessarily require a loop? |

But back on track... Has anyone opened the M-66 up to see exactly what would need to be modded for a bit more bass? |

Provided that I got it back when they were done. |

| | | | I'm currently building a blender pedal so that I can do this. I'll post some shots later. I'd rather have a separate pedal than modify an existing right now, as I can then blend whatever pedal, or combination of pedals I like, and the pedal I want to blend doesn't really have much room inside for any more components. |

I don't have much experience though so I'm hesitant...
