| It has for me (but I might change my mind again). Both have their high points, but finally the brightness of the Multiband won over the organic quality of the P&C but Just for the high volume band situation. (I use both mildly, not as lazer beams, early in chain to get a mid range presence) P&C is easier to control to find unity volume (1 blend knob vs 2 volumes) and P&C is better for a woody-like tone overdrive, but it is more subtle. And I thought I'd never be taking the P&C home from the practice space, but the multiband replaces a blended deviever BIT and the P&C with a kind of violent ripping sound that really gets heard (when used subtly). Multiband programs 17 & 21, clean at 3, effect, noonish, drive 11 (not much). |
