Bass Pod XT to the house, but not on stage?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all.
it's been quite some time since my last post...

I was wondering if someone could shed some light on this for me:
On an upcoming gig I would like to use a Bass Pod XT (the bean) into the house system, but I was told the stage and room are big, so maybe it's better to have something to monitor myself, so I was thinking of using my little amp (which has Effects loop Send/Return and Direct XLR out) and cab as a stage monitor.

Now, don't want to have the effects on stage but only through the PA speakers (I use some Octavers and am worried it would be too much for my little cab (I only have a small Acoustic Image Extension cab with on 10 in it) Is this at all possible with this Pod-Amp combination?

thanks, Xaver
