Bass sound on Justice Electric Feel Cover

Hi!

We covered Electric feel by MGMT in my band recently
not really a song for a rock band, but it sounds really cool

That's why i'm wondering now that i've found the Justice REMIX of the song; MGMT - Electric Feel / Justice Remix [FULL HQ RE-UP] - YouTube

Do anyone out here have any idea what kind of effects they use on this track? I know that the bass line is slapped, but that's kind of it..

And if all they do is use som computer program, how can i get the sound with some effects?

I think it's a synth (keyboard) layered along with the slap bass. Quite possibly the bass player has a Roland midi pickup on his/her bass where they can play the bass and synth in unison.
