I really dig how that thing is sounding on guitar. I need a good delay pedal and the stereo ins and outs on that thing make me think it would play nice with the stereo-out on my Ric.

The only delay I've got right now is what's built-in to my Korg AX1B. It's very very basic and I don't find myself using it much.

It's great on bass, especially since you can use the filter control to filter out the low end on the repeats. Delay on bass can get really muddy, but with this you can keep the low end solid and defined with a wash of high-mid/treble repeats filling up space in the background. The looper is great fun too, although not that useable live (unless you're just making ambient noise) since there's a volume drop with the blend control set to 50/50.

It's a great unit, if you want digital delay with lots of options, and 30 sec of loop time. Any delay will work on bass.

It's one of my favorite pedals of ALL TIME. Gonna be picking one up again soon.

+1

the Ehx SMMH is a rad spacey pedal that I miss and one day will have another like it. It sounds terrific on the bass.

so many ways to do so much stuff and the looper alone is worth the price, let alone 7 other delay presets that are instantly tweakable but all sound great...gyargh I should've never sold it (twice)

Out of many, it's the only pedal I've sold, missed, then bought again!

How's it sound/work if you don't have a stereo set-up?

There really isn't any difference at all. You can use it stereo or not.

stereo in and stereo out means you can have any combination you want

mono in / mono out
mono in / stereo out
stereo in / mono out
stereo in / stereo out

I used the extra input to plug my iPod in for intro sound clips
You have to have the pedal on for this to work though, so I just had it in the looping preset without looping. Except for the occasional overdubbing of sound clips
