Bass Synth Wah Modification

Is it possible to mod a BSW to change (lower) the sensitivity? My complaint is that even when the Sensitivity knob is turned all the way down, it's still pretty easy to trigger the synths. Anyone have any ideas? Simple as swapping a resistor or two? Huge mess I shouldn't bother with?

Have you tried just cooling out your bass signal?

I haven't had such issues with any of my basses -- none of which are extremely hot -- but they aren't weak either.

Even on my lowest output bass, I have to keep the bass's volume around 6 or 7 and if I were to use that bass in a live situation, I'd need a clean boost to get it where my SX Jazz or ATK300 are volume wise.

There's probably a way of doing something along those lines, but how and what, nobody knows. You'd either have to find a schematic or reverse engineer the thing.
