Bass Synth Wah tracking issue

Sign in to disble this ad
I've had my digitech Bass Synth Wah for 5+ years and never had an issue with the unit retriggering the envelope on the same note. Lately, it will be intermittent with the lower octave note and it sounds like its not tracking right. The thing about this pedal that I loved was how well it tracked. I know that voltage is an issue for this as it chews up batteries. With a fresh battery installed, its still doing this. With my AC adapter last night it was doing this. Anyone had a digitech die on them before?

Had time to listen to it w/o the pressures of a gig last night. The envelope part works fine. Anything with the octave retriggers or has the bass note drop out for a second. With overdrive in front of it, it really retriggers ( at settings 5 and 6 this sounds hysterical, but not usable) the synth sound. I feel like I'm asking the morgue attendant if theres anything else that can be done
