Hi,has anyone used one of these Intelli clip on type of tuner?will it tune the low B and high C strings ok?thanks.

It also tunes my electric guitar, so I cant see a high C being a problem. It is a really excellent tuner, I am so glad i got that instead of the boss TU-2 pedal. It is silent, built more solid than anything I have ever had before, and just works!

The first time i used it, I was quite surprised at how sensitive it was and it makes it much easier to use. Much more stable than the boss TU-12, at least in my experience. Totally worth it. |

Of course it would have helped if the OP had been smart enough to put something like "How well do Intelli clip-on tuners work on bass?" as a thread title. |

I bought it, and it was barely able to tune my E and B strings. In fact, to use it, I had to fret at the 12th fret and tune from there so that my bass would actually register on the tuner.
If you have an acoustic guitar, buy the intelli tuner and keep it with your acoustic guitar, that's what I did. |
