Hey, I'm looking into getting one of these. Does anyone have any experience with one? I used to have the one for guitar and I really liked it. How is the Bass V-amp? |

I have a couple of friends (1 bass, 1 guitard) that have and use it, they had no problems and/or noticeable noise, so it may have been my unit only.
The bass player likes his a great deal, I don't think the guitard, would know the difference, he typically has so many gadgets going at any one time...

I had to literaly give mine away to get rid of it.
ok well, if all you plan on doing is recording with it and playing in your bedroom it Could be ok. but even then I found it hard to control and noisy.

| | | | Yeah I'm thinking recording and jamming around, but if its no good live then whats the point. I had one a while back, the guitar version and it just died on me, but it had some pretty cool tones and what not, I think the only option is probably to head to the shop and try one out. The only problem is most stores I know of simply don't carry Behringer for some reason. |

Versatile tones but you have to be a knob twister because it can be a little imposing. Get the software and USB to Midi cable and adjust it from your computer. Everything is laid out and adjusts in real time.

I used to use it a lot when I had only been playing for about a year and a half. I used it a lot back then and got some good sounds from it when using my old Cort Action 4. It has the potential to turn a not-so-good bass into an over-average bass.
I agree with a previous poster ^^^^^ that the unit was very noise. It liked buzzing...

This has been hashed out before (with the pro, not the pedal version, but they are supposedly the same). |

ugh...not worth it imo. |
