Question Bass Wah pedal Help

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello talkbass members,

I'm looking for a bass wah pedal in Canada. I have a Marcus Miller jazz 5 String bass and a Yorkville Xm200 amp 1x15

I was looking around and saw the crybaby one and the mortley one as well.

Please let me know ASAP! I'm playing funk, jazz, rock, metal and other stuff

Thanks a lot

I personally love the Morley dual bass wah. The fact that it's spring loaded/activated and has two voicings is ideal for what I use it for.

Sounds like you're looking for an Ibanez Weeping Demon. Only $100 and one of the most versatile wah pedals out there.

do you mean it broke or it was crap? If it broke, no company has perfect quality control. If it sucked, ya they're kinda love or hate. My teacher used to use one but now thinks they suck (and that the Bass Crybaby is the BEST WAH EVAR! ). I use tried on out at GC and thought it was quite good, for the price.

i just didn't like it.

i played it for a bit at GC and dug it, but when i got it home and played it, i liked it less and less over the couple weeks i had it, and ended up taking it back.

it colored my sound way too much. the spring-back auto-turn-off feature would be cool if there wasnt a "pop" every time it auto shut off, and wasnt a huge difference in sound between having it on and off. i tried running it with a few different pedals and it made the other pedals sound like crap.

that's just my experience and my opinions... if you're interested, you can do what i did... buy it, play with it, if you dont like it, return it.
