I'm borrowing a BassBalls... My GOD. MY GOD! Why was I not informed? I mean, I've seen them around here and things, but HOW FUNKY IS THIS THING? I thought my Spector sounded funky without it to tell you the truth, but MAN this thing is amazing. It almost sounds snarly... It's just... wow.

I have never had any luck recording with it, and it is usually not on my regular pedalboard...although sometimes I'm not sure why?...but sometimes I bust it out live on special occasions for certain special parts of songs and it definately gets EVERYBODY'S attention, including the band!
I ALWAYS get loads of compliments on it!

I think it's a bit of a one trick pony in that it takes over your sound completely and pretty much always sounds the same compared with say a Q-tron which is more flexible and capable of more subtlety. I wish there were more simple down sweep filters out there. |

I got a lot of milage out of my Sovtek/EHX Bigmuff, Bassballs and smallstone for many years. |

WIsh I could find more pedals like it - small form factor, unique and useful sounds. |

So I'll be bringing some pedals and stuff and see what I can add/create.

Maybe that would explain the excitement behind the Bass Balls, but the most experience is what I've heard and tested. I own literally one pedal, unless my friend decides to part with the Bass Balls too.
