BassBone Boost problem

Sign in to disble this ad
After searching 15 pages of BassBone related threads, I've come to the conclusion that this is a new problem.

Lately when I use my BassBone, it works fine with no Boost (light off). When I stomp on the Boost trigger, the light comes on, but my sound goes away. All of it. Doesn't matter if I am using one bass or two. If the Boost light is on, I get no output at all in my chain.

Any ideas on what may be going on?

One possibility is that the footswitch has a bad connection, either internally (it happens sometimes, even under normal use) or at one of the solder joints. Another might be a ground fault in/at the boost circuit.
