Bassbone DI vs. j48. Anyone tried both?

Hi all.

I'm thinking about getting a Radial Bassbone. Does anyone know what the quality of the Di sound is on the Bassbone vs. J48?

Some describes the bassbone as a bit of a tone sucker. Anyone got opinions on that?

:-)

I have. The J48 sounds much better.
I like the bassbone, it's a very useful tool. But the DI was a letdown for me.

I only owned the Radial Bassbone, but have used the J48 when I was recording in a studio a few months ago and thought it was amazing.

I no longer own the Bassbone ... others swear by it, and I liked some of its capabilities for playing live, but I personally hated what it did to my tone.
