Battery Life Of The Blow Torch - Terrible???

Sign in to disble this ad
I finally had an opportunity to test out my new Blow Torch today at length. Wow, less than two hours and the batteries are dead. I've seen the other threads on the pro's and con's of batteries vs. adapter, but this is ridiculous; 2hrs??

I know the Blow Torch is 18vdc but this seems really odd. Has anyone else experienced this with the Blow Torch? Also, where can you get an 18 vdc adapter that’s cheep?

I bought my adapter with my Blowtorch....Cost me $16.00. I don't know if that's cheap to you or not but it sure beats buying batteries all the time.

The adapter is Dunlop part number ECB004 US.
