BBE 362 Rack and Rack Effects Questions HELP!

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok so here is my dilema fellow thumpers.

Ive recently after many years of just using clean bass signal am looking to get into the world of effects and modulation. I already own a BBE 362 Rackmount and was wondering 2 things.

If i switch over to the sonic stomp pedal so I can use an effects pedal board with effects of my choosing, will it kill my tone?

Keep in mind, LOVE the tone of my Ampeg amp and LOVE the tone of the bbe 362.

Also, if the pedal isnt as nice or as clean sounding as the 362 rack, who the hell makes a good bass effects rack?!? Ive looked literally everywhere for something with good bass effects.

Saw the line 6 bass pod racks on ebay.. Any thoughts? Is there a true way to bypass it when I dont want the effects on?
