BBE Processor...

Sign in to disble this ad
I just placed my BBE 262 Processor into a rack case with my used/new to me GBE750 amp. I have the 2 1/4" cables coming out of the back of the BBE Channel A Output/Input. Where on back of the GB amp do I connect these cables? The words "effects/processing loop" are located on back of amp, above that there is a single slave out 1/4" hole, to the right there are 3 sets of 1/4" holes above says SEND below each says RECIEVE. From left to right each set there is a Master (preamp in/out), Tube Channel and FET channel. I used to just use 2 cables on the A channel of of the BBE into the send/return effects loop of my GK or GBE600. ON the 750 do I need to use the A&B channels with 4 cables to run to both the Tube & FET channels? Or do I just run the processor with input/output to the Master (preamp) send/return? I do want the processor effect in both channels. This 750 amp is abit different than my GK and GBE600, to me anyway. Thanks for any info.

If there's a "master" send/return, then it seems like that is what you'd want.

Yes BongoM...

there is a Master send/ret on back but again it says in parenthesis next to Master (preamp in/poweramp out). Does that not matter? Also, nice hound there, I have a 12 yr old black lab, Louie, he loves that water too. Sit Oohboo!

An fx loop is (generally) the same thing as a preamp out/poweramp in connection. The only distinction is that some loops may have additional features such as switching or blending.
