BBE Sonic Maximizer 882i Proble

Hi!

I've just bought a BBE Sonic Maximizer 882i and connected it to my GK 400RB-IV's effects loop. I hear a constant buzz. I tried out mono and stereo cables, but that didn't solve the proble. What could be the problem?
