BBE TWO TIMER

Sign in to disble this ad
FROM BBE:
Quote:
Dual-Mode Analog Delay

The TWO TIMER™ was inspired by the long discontinued Boss DM-2 Delay. The DM-2 was known for its warm, haunting reverb and tape-like echoes. The TWO TIMER offers two Independent delay times foot switchable via the TIME 1/TIME 2 mode switch. This makes it possible to have one delay setup for a short slapback rhythm sound while another is set to a longer delay for solos.

The TWO TIMER is essentially two great analog delays in one compact pedal. The TWO TIMER circuit features a BBD (Bucket Brigade Delay) for the warmth and character only analog can deliver, 1% Metal Film resistors for pristine audio quality plus True Hard-Wire Bypass for a clean signal path when the effect is bypassed.

Other features include hardwire bypass, LED operation indicator, non-slip rubber bottom, easy-access 9v battery compartment and included external power supply
Are these available? If so, has any one tried one. I have two delay settings I use alot so I need two pedals. This would make my life so much easier and I can trust BBE for great pedals (so far)

That looks very cool. It could go on my "things to replace my B2 with" list.

Looks kinda cool. I'm wondering if the delay would be too short to be very useful for most situations, though. I might mention it to my guitarist. He's looking for a delay pedal.

Wow. Resurrecting an old thread here, but since this was the only result when I searched for the Two Timer I figured I may as well post here.

I just got mine today, and after playing with it for about a half hour I've decided to return/re-sell it (ebay purchase...). The tone of the pedal is awesome, and I love having 2 times to choose from, but the thing cannot handle bass. The echos come out really dirty, even when I played in the upper register (passive Gibson Grabber). And not good analog vibe dirty, more like an "eww, farty" kind of dirty. I can't have that. Plus, there's not quite enough delay time for me. There are internal trim pots to increase the max delay time, but it gets dirtier as you turn it up.

I tried an MXR Carbon Copy at a shop the other day, and I think I'm going to end up with one of those. IIRC it had longer delay time and good analog warmth, no farting. Plus I forsee it being put into a new housing with a footswitch for the modulation, and the mod trimpots becoming external pots...
