BBE Wah pedal, for bass?

Hey, wondering if anyone has ever used the BBE wah pedal for bass and to what end. I'm in the market for a new bass wah and can get a pretty good deal on one. Never tried it but according to the BBE website it can be used for guitar, keyboard or bass. It also features true bypass, which would be a must for me. Any thoughts?
