BDDI and Phantom power question.

Sign in to disble this ad
My new BDDI is arriving tomorrow and i plan to power it off our desk via a mic lead/DI.
Ill also put a battery in it just in case something goes wrong at the desk.

Does anyone know if the battery will drain down if i leave a jack in the input, even with phantom powering?

Thanks.

I have no idea, but I know with Boss pedals it still drains the battery, or so I read once years ago.
