Bedal board questions (s)

so I finally took the plunge, and got myself a fairly basic pedal board for both my trebel and bass guitars. Right now I have a phase 100 (DIY), orange squeeze (DIY), Dr. Q, Big muff Bass, a wah for my trebel and a boss metal zone (the last two being older purchases). The question I have is in what order I should place them on my board... im totaly new-ish to effects, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks =D

For bass, you often want compression/distortion effects first, followed by filtering effects (wahs and envelope filters) and then modulations.

However, feel completely free to experiment. Justin Chancellor is known for his heavy use of effects, and his boards does not follow this pattern at all.
