Behringer BOD100/400 or V-tone Bass Driver DI BDI21

I'm a little bored with sound of my bass plugged directly into Laney RB3 combo and would like to experiment with it a bit, particularly try to get Lemmy's distorted sound. I'm a beginner and play only for fun, no gigs or rehersals yet, so I see no point in investing money in Boss effects, hence my questions.

Is there a difference between BOD100 and newer BOD400 models? Both are still in sale in Poland, both for about 20€/30$?

Are there any significant differences between those overdrives and the V-tone Bass Driver? It costs about 30€/45$.
