anybody have any experience with these? Looking $ one to put between my Bass V Amp Pro and a Power amp the eq Rooms whil still retaining my sound

What i really want to know is will i NEED the limiter?(Pushing a NOS Crate cab rated for 125w @ 800w) I will have in my possession a CS 800 With a Bass VAMP Pro. Either way it goes i still Need a GEQ for eqing rooms
