Was thinking about getting this, to give bit or warmth and tube feel to my bass, but is it anygood. I've read some pretty good reviews about it, but none for bass applications, so was wondering if anyone has any experience with it?
it will function as a preamp, yes, but I wouldn't expect to hear any sort of tube sound from it. Last I checked, it used starved-plate circuitry on the tubes, which basically means they're running like 12 volts to it.
