OK I did a search and found two lengthy Behringer fx threads, but they keep making new effects! Does anyone have experience with . . .

Behringer BUF300 Ultra Bass Flanger
Behringer BUC400 Ultra Bass Chorus
Behringer BOD400 Bass Overdrive
Behringer US600 Ultimate Pitch Shifter Harmonist
Behringer SO400 Super Octaver Octave

my 13 year old son has some of these effects....he has bought simply based on their price....he uses his own allowance money...

he wanted to experiment with different pedal sounds and figured the was the cheapest and best way to do it to see what he likes and does not like...

they seem to sound and work fine....though i can tell you the enclosures are some form of plastic or nylon

no idea if they are buffered or true bypass

you can see he has the Hell Babe Wah, the Chorus, and the DI
again they all seem to work fine...especially for the money

The BOD400 sounds incredibly nasally, metallic, and crappy whereas the SO400 sound weak and didn't really change the tone much.

Thanks. Would you say the blend knob on the BOD400 doesn't work?

I've used some of them and still have the chorus in on my board (I only use it for a couple songs and do plan on upgrading to EBS) I think they are ok effects for the money, but you can get the used Boss versions for about the same price.

There are reviews of these in the review section for more info.

The blend knob on the one I tried worked, just not very well. I thought the tone was just ugly no matter how much clean signal was blended.

I loved the AD121 acoustic DI using it with my Fenders. A very fat/warm tone.

Problem was that it kept clipping the input on the pedal if I ran volume full out. And this was on not overly hot passive Fenders.

I could have run volume lower and used the pedal, but at the end of the day it annoyed me enough to look elsewhere.

Not true bypass for sure. But my chorus may pad the signal a little, but it does not add any noise. For $30 they are fun.
