I ordered one of these for a fun little toy to have around the practice room. This is my first "el-cheapo" pedal. At $39 new, I can't imagine that it's too much of a loss (if it ends up being terrible). A Whammy IV would be nice, but you can't beat 1/4 of the price! Does anyone have any experience with these? How accurate, noisy, and/or durable are these?

Hmmm. Those reviews don't make the pedal sound too promising. Anyone have any experience with these?

Well, I received mine yesterday. I'm happy to report that it is a usable pedal for bass. The only setting to be avoided is the "harmonist" setting--it just cannot track correctly. However, the detune, pitch, flutter, and trem settings work great! I didn't notice any excessive noise and the pedal stayed very quiet and non-disruptive when it was off. Yeah, it is a plastic pedal, but not cheap Danelectro plastic. It looks like it will take a little abuse, but nothing like a metal pedal would. Anyway, they are a fun toy for cheap.
