Has anybody tried (Like or disliked) this unit? what are your thoughts?

I thought about getting one for signal processing mod effects too but don't live anywhere close to a guitar store that carries one I have been playing about a year

the amp I use is an fender rumble 210 ( couldn't justify the expense of a real fender) the guitar is an Ibanez tr 500 with passive/ active switch hey sounds good to me..... and gretsch mini bass g 2202

thanks

While I don't have any first-hand experience with it, a common complaint I've seen in reviews for the v-amp is about a 2-second pause between switching to a new patch, and it actually kicking in.

I've got the V-AMP Pro and while it's great fun to play around with, I can't see ever relying on it in a live setting. Dunno, but everything on it seems to be very cheap. That being said, I don't plan on using it out of the house, so I suspect it'll last just fine. The patches are decent and it doesn't seem to adversely affect my tone. The thing that I really like about the unit is the fact that I've got TONS of tonal options at my hands, which I personally find helps me get the creative juices flowing. I plan to mess around with it on guitar as well, the manual mentions that the Bass unit was designed for use with just about any electric instrument.

YMMV but I find that the $50 that I spent on mine shipped to me was money well spent, I would probably have paid twice that, but I'm not sure about the full price.
