I have recently been trying to overhaul my pedal board with analog-only pedals and currently, I'm tryin to replace my Boss OC-3. Any suggestions on analog bass pedals? Prefer to stay around the $150-$200 price range. Thanks!

And the good news for you is that just about all of the best ones can be had for less than $200 new, nevermind used.

I went with the MXR 288 cause my local pro shop had one in stock, but would be happy with the Aguilar too. I don't think you would go wrong with either. |

Aguilar Octamizer
MXR M-288 Bass Octave Deluxe
EBS Octabass
Those are the octave pedals people talk about the most. These are probably the easiest to buy and sell on the used market because of their popularity.

It's a well built thing, the mid switch is a plus, I guess this pedal is just not my cup of tea. Thinking of replacing it with an OC-2.

| | | | Digitech Whammy.
Pitch bend, harmony intervals, up, down, sideways, octaves up and down ...
All for what? $200? Or is it less?
No comparison.
Listen to Justin Chancellor of Tool. He uses it a LOT. And BTW, the red whammy IV is just as good as the old blue bass whammy, maybe better but they're basically the same. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
