That was a good demo. I wish the poster said what bass he was using.

It sounds very overdriven considering how low the gain is set, he must have been playing the recording too loud into the pedal instead of trying to match it to to the output level of the bass. Good idea, but this kinda ruins the test unfortunately.

+1 If I were considering the VT I don't think this would sway to me to buy it. That said, I have one and I love it. The sound quality on this demo is so-so.

Check burgerman666's reviews... they set a very high standard. It's a guitar player, but he has some bass specific pedals reviewed (VT bass and some AMT stuff).
