It sounds like getting punched in the face with a truck. Depending on what your application is, it's a good choice. If you play really loud and fairly slow it's an amazing fuzz and can really really thick and brutal. If you don't want your notes mushing together into inaudible sludge at higher tempos, it isn't a good idea. I don't really know how you want to sound so I can't give you a fair pedal suggestion. Listen to all of the Devi clips you can find and pick the one most suited to what you want. I think that any Devi pedal under $100 is the best fuzz under $100.

not to be a hater or anything, but the Devi pedals all have something in common, and are really designed for over-the-top cranked out fuzz. they fill the bill perfectly for some folks but are not for everybody |

ZVEX Wooly Mammoth - $360
This 1s Myne Clone - $100
Sound is exactly the same. |

It gets lost in the mix.
Find a used Zoom Ultra Fuzz (usually $90.00) and you won't be disappointed.
Honestly, if you can't find one of those, hit on an FxDoctor Bass Bit Fuzz. Awesome and cheap.

I know there's a lot of hatred of that pedal on this forum, but if your looking for a more gnarly, in your face distortion on the cheap, the ODB3 is a pretty good choice. |

I got one on evilbay for 70 and I'm very happy with it.
It's not the most versatile fuzz out there but for under a hundred bucks it's got a great sound.
It kind of depends on what kind of what kind of sound you're going for.
also +1 for genericbassname's suggestion on the ODB-3, IMO it doesn't handle the low end as well, but it's cheap, and it has a very "in your face" sound.
In short, what Zoa said. |

And its one of the most usable of Devi's pedals. You could also check out the Bit / Legend of Fuzz, which I found to be very usable. |

2) Way Huge Swollen Pickle (has sooo much range but really good for doom-stoner riffs and also sounds awesome with an octave run into it. ( i use an OC-2 into it with the filter set to max and it sounds very synthy!) |
