the boss RV-5 is another amazing pedal, but again, if you just want a sweet reverb tone, then I'd stick with the good ol' holy grail
there is also the line 6 reverb, the verbzilla.
all these reverbs work great for bass, but I would personally recommend the normal holy grail or holy grail+ to someone buying their first reverb.

| | | | it looks like the Verbzilla has the most Diversity in its settings, so i can probably get alot more different settings on that one, compared to Holy grail right? |

You can always get a reverbamate if you have the dough. |

I keep coming back to just having another analog delay on my board (i actually built two delays inside one enclosure). Those digital reverb pedals are great if you're going for a tape emulation sound of sorts, or something fairly odd. For simple 'verb I just use a delay pedal. ALL IMO/IME of course!!! |

On topic, I actually like my B2.1u's reverb. I keep a patch or two loaded w/just reverb, & creep it in w/the expression pedal. Nice on fretless.

Say what you want about this pedal, but the delay and reverb capabilities of this thing are amazing. |

I haven't tried it yet, and I would like to know if anyone of you would recommend it?

I'm not a big reverb fan on bass (in fact, I'm considering the Verbzilla for my guitar setup) but the tiled room mode is too much fun to play around with.
Very cool on bass.... ad a little fuzz... in a tiled room... unexplicible cool weirdness. |
